Raffles Udaipur announces the appointment of Gurnoor Bindra as its new General Manager.
In her new role, Bindra will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the luxury resort, with a focus on guest experience, operational efficiency, team leadership, and strengthening the hotel’s positioning within the global Raffles portfolio.
Bindra brings over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked across Asia and the Middle East in senior leadership and operational roles. Prior to joining Raffles Udaipur, she served as General Manager at The St. Regis Goa Resort, where she led the resort through a key operational phase. Before that, she held multiple leadership positions with Marriott International in Dubai, including General Manager, Hotel Manager, and Cluster Director of Operational Innovation, where she was also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. In these roles, she worked on operational transformation initiatives, process improvement, and performance optimisation across luxury hotel portfolios.
Earlier in her career, Bindra was associated with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where she held regional roles in South Asia, including Regional Operations Manager and Operations Analyst. Her responsibilities included hotel openings and conversions, franchise relations, brand compliance, operational audits, and leading operations excellence initiatives across South Asia and South East Asia. She began her professional journey in finance, having worked as Deputy Manager – Finance at MMTC-PAMP, where she handled project accounting, statutory compliances, and financial reporting.
Bindra holds a B.Com (Hons) degree from Lady Shri Ram College and has completed an Executive Programme in Global Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.
