Flight cancellations have been extended by Go First until June 4. The budget airline Go First stopped flying on May 3, and the most recent statement means that it will be grounded for a month.
Since the initial notice on May 2 when the services were cancelled for three days until May 5, this is the eighth time the carrier has prolonged the cancellation of flights. “Go First flights booked till June 4, 2023, have been cancelled,” the airline tweeted.
A complete refund will soon be sent to the original payment method, according to the tweet. “The company has applied for urgent settlement and the revival of operations, as you are aware. We will soon be ready to accept reservations again,” it added.
The aviation regulator DGCA urged the carrier to submit a revival plan within 30 days last week as part of the insolvency resolution process that is currently underway.
