Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara, The Centara Collection officially marked its grand opening with a ceremony attended by senior leaders from the tourism and hospitality sectors, industry partners, and media. Located just 35 minutes from Pokhara, the resort represents Centara Hotels & Resorts’ first property in Nepal, blending panoramic Himalayan views with authentic local heritage and Thai-inspired hospitality.
Distinguished guests at the event included Mani Raj Lamichhanne, Chief of the Nepal Tourism Board; resort owner and philanthropist Robert Kee; and Michael Henssler, Chief Operating Officer of Centara Hotels & Resorts. Speakers expressed confidence in Nepal’s expanding tourism landscape and its growing global appeal. Traditional cultural performances added vibrancy to the celebration, reflecting Nepal’s rich heritage alongside Centara’s signature service standards.

Facilities include multiple dining venues, a bar and lounge, a scenic tea house, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, and Cense by Spa Cenvaree, offering holistic therapies, yoga, and sound-healing experiences.
