Indiatourism Mumbai, the Regional office of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, recently conducted an online workshop on the procedures for Recognition of Tourism Service Providers by Ministry of Tourism for the subscribers of UTEN LLP. This presentation was attended by over 100 subscribers. During the presentation the Shri D Venkatesan, Regional Director (West) explained the entire process of applying for recognition of service providers and also the benefits which are available for the recognised tour operators.
During the online session Indiatourism Mumbai also highlighted the importance of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and the potential to promote the Azadi Trails i.e, places associated with India’s Freedom Movement and also laid emphasis on to visit monuments of national importance and further highlighted the Border Tourism concept. The members were also introduced to the Incredible India Tourist Facilitator (IITF) Certification Programme and encouraged to enrol and benefit from it.
