IndiGo deploys A321XLR on Bali routes

IndiGo is strengthening its international network by deploying its Airbus A321XLR aircraft on services to Bali, one of the most popular leisure destinations for Indian travellers. The move forms part of the airline’s broader strategy to expand long-haul operations and enhance international connectivity.

The upgraded aircraft will operate on the Delhi–Denpasar and Mumbai–Denpasar routes during the Northern Winter 2026/27 season, enabling IndiGo to offer improved connectivity and a more comfortable travel experience. The Airbus A321XLR’s extended range allows the airline to operate longer international sectors more efficiently while supporting growing demand for outbound leisure travel.

Industry stakeholders believe the deployment will further strengthen tourism links between India and Indonesia while enhancing access to Bali, a destination that continues to witness strong demand from Indian holidaymakers. The aircraft also supports IndiGo’s ongoing international expansion plans, with additional long-haul destinations expected to be added in the future.

The initiative underscores IndiGo’s commitment to expanding its global footprint through next-generation aircraft and enhanced passenger experiences, while supporting India’s growing outbound travel market.
