IndiGo said it operated more than 2,000 flights for the second consecutive day on Saturday, indicating steady progress in restoring normal operations following recent disruptions.
In a statement, the airline said it expects to operate over 2,050 flights across its 138 destinations under a revised schedule aligned with government directives. IndiGo added that its on-time performance remains in line with established benchmarks.
Building on recent operational stability, the airline said it operated more than 2,050 flights with only two cancellations due to technical issues, with all affected passengers rebooked on alternative services. This marks the fifth straight day of sustained operational normalisation, according to the statement.
IndiGo also urged passengers not to rely on misinformation regarding widespread cancellations. The airline said it has instructed airport partners to display updated flight schedules across terminal screens to prevent confusion.
“With over 325,000 customers flying with us daily, we are grateful for the continued trust and confidence they place in IndiGo. We remain committed to maintaining the integrity of our revised schedule,” an IndiGo spokesperson said.
