IRCTC and DMRC collaborate to launch ‘One India, One Ticket’

As the IRCTC and DMRC have teamed together to offer the ‘One India-One Ticket’ programme, passengers travelling by rail or flight will soon be able to “reserve tickets” in advance for their future journey in Delhi Metro, according to officials.

According to a senior official of the DMRC, the project’s launch schedule has not yet been disclosed, but it aims to offer passengers smooth and hassle-free travel across all modes of transportation.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) have created a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), according to a statement from the DMRC. “This is a significant step towards improving the convenience and ease of travel for passengers,” the DMRC stated.

As a part of the revolutionary “One India-One Ticket Initiative,” this groundbreaking collaboration “aims to introduce QR code-based ticketing for DMRC services through the IRCTC portal.”
