IRCTC introduces 10-day Japan tour package departing from Delhi

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a 9-night, 10-day Japan tour package from Delhi, offering Indian travellers an opportunity to experience the country’s major destinations and attractions, including a ride on Japan’s iconic bullet train.

The tour is scheduled to operate from September 6 to September 15, 2026, and has been designed as a comprehensive international holiday package for travellers looking to explore Japan through an organised itinerary.

The package includes return economy-class airfare along with accommodation, sightseeing and other travel arrangements as part of the itinerary. A key highlight of the tour is the inclusion of Japan’s renowned bullet-train experience, offering travellers an opportunity to experience one of the country’s most recognised modes of high-speed transport.

The itinerary is expected to cover major tourism experiences and destinations in Japan, with IRCTC offering travellers a structured package that combines transportation, accommodation and sightseeing arrangements.

The launch adds to IRCTC’s portfolio of international holiday products and reflects the growing demand among Indian travellers for organised overseas travel experiences. Japan has continued to gain attention among Indian travellers for its combination of culture, modern cities, technology, scenic landscapes and distinctive travel experiences.

For the travel trade, the introduction of the package highlights the continued expansion of organised outbound tourism products from India, particularly for long-haul destinations. The offering is expected to appeal to travellers seeking a convenient and pre-planned international holiday with key travel services bundled into a single package.
