ITC Hotels launches Fortune Select Siliguri in the Eastern Himalayas

ITC Hotels Limited (ITCHL) announces the opening of Fortune Select Siliguri, a 70-key premium hotel in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. Located in West Bengal’s vibrant gateway city, the hotel combines plush ambience, refined vegetarian offerings, and sophisticated event spaces, positioning it as a landmark for weddings, celebrations, and leisure travel.

With this launch, ITCHL strengthens its presence in India’s eastern region, now operating seven hotels in West Bengal, including ITC Sonar, ITC Royal Bengal, Storii by ITC Hotels Devasom Resort and Spa in Kolkata, and four Fortune hotels in Kolkata, Durgapur, Kalimpong, and Siliguri.

Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, said: “The unveiling of Fortune Select Siliguri marks an important milestone in ITC Hotels’ expansion in the East. Our vision is to deliver responsible and rewarding hospitality across India, strengthening our footprint in emerging urban centres and cultural hubs.”

The hotel offers easy access from Bagdogara Airport and features aesthetic, well-appointed rooms and suites with sweeping views, contemporary design, and modern comforts. Culinary experiences include Rainbow, an all-vegetarian restaurant inspired by the seven colours of the rainbow. Upcoming openings include Neptune, a trendy bar, and Fortune Deli, serving fresh bakes and light snacks.

Roshan Agarwal, Managing Director, CKIM Promoters LLP, said: “Fortune Select Siliguri is envisioned as more than a hotel; it is a celebration of people coming together in this region. In partnership with ITC Hotels, we aim to make this property the region’s most sought-after destination for weddings and social gatherings.”

The hotel offers versatile banquet spaces for up to 900 guests, including a grand lawn, expansive ballroom, pre-function area, and exclusive VIP lounges. Wellness facilities, including a swimming pool, spa, and gymnasium, are set to open soon, providing relaxation for both leisure and business travellers. Siliguri’s strategic location serves as a gateway to North Bengal, Sikkim, and neighbouring countries such as Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh, with easy access to Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Gangtok.
