ITC Hotels Limited continues to raise its growth trajectory as it announced the opening of its 10th property under Brand Storii – the 52 keys Storii Castle Kanota in Rajasthan. Coinciding with 150 years of the historic estate, the collaboration with the Kanota family brings together shared values of heritage pride and responsible hospitality, rooted deeply in place and legacy.
Commenting on the association, Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, said, “Brand Storii showcases diverse stories through properties that are distinct by architecture and destination bringing forward a strong sense of identity and tradition. Castle Kanota exemplifies this spirit through its lived history, continuity of family stewardship and staying rooted to its culture. We are delighted to bring this unique offering that is authentic and historical to our guests.”
STORII Castle Kanota will enhance the guest experience while safeguarding the estate’s architectural character, historic collections and the rhythms of a family residence that continues to be lived in. Guests will experience refined comforts alongside stories, cuisine and rituals that have shaped Kanota for over a century, offering an intimate and true immersion into Rajasthan’s living heritage.
Thakur Man Singh Kanota, custodian of the Castle Kanota estate, added, “Castle Kanota has always been a place of duty and hospitality. Each generation of our family has adapted with time while remaining anchored in the same values. As we mark 150 years of Kanota, it is a privilege to partner with Storii by ITC Hotels, whose approach to mindful and responsible hospitality aligns closely with our own. We look forward to sharing this legacy forward with care and purpose — ‘Karni aur Barni rukni nahi chave.’”
Founded in the mid-19th century by Thakur Zorawar Singh ji, an aristocrat in service of the Maharajas of Jaipur, Castle Kanota evolved from a jagir headquarters into a lived-in family home shaped by generations of public service, military leadership, scholarship and heritage conservation. In 1971, the estate opened its doors to travellers, welcoming guests while remaining embedded in family life.
With this opening, ITC Hotels continues to strengthen Storii as a collection of distinctive addresses that celebrate destinations with soul, depth and enduring character.
