JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort to host Michelin-starred chef Stefan Fäth for exclusive two-night dining experience

JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort announces a special two-night guest chef collaboration with Chef-Owner Stefan Fäth of the one-Michelin-starred Restaurant Jellyfish in Hamburg. Taking place on December 4 and 5, 2026, the event will showcase Chef Stefan’s refined, French-inspired global cuisine through two distinct and immersive dining experiences set against the natural beauty of the Maldives.

The culinary journey begins on December 4 with The Ocean Symphony, an exclusive seven-course beachfront dinner at Wahoo Beach. Set beneath softly glowing lanterns and accompanied by the rhythm of the Indian Ocean, the evening highlights Chef Stefan’s signature balance of precision and creativity. The menu features dishes such as salmon with beet and leek, swordfish accented with chili and coriander, cod with caviar and sweet potato, and Iberico paired with soy and cabbage. The experience concludes with playful desserts including pineapple with coconut and exotic fruits, followed by milk chocolate with yogurt and blueberry.

On December 5, guests are invited to The Island Reverie at Veyo, a five-course tasting menu inspired by freshness, contrast, and balance. The menu includes tuna sashimi with mango and ponzu, mackerel with melon, feta, and mint, salmon with potato, dashi, and chives, and corn-fed chicken complemented by celery, truffle, and apple. The evening ends on a nostalgic note with banana, caramel, chocolate, and almond.

Chef Stefan Fäth’s cuisine is celebrated for its relaxed sophistication, thoughtful craftsmanship, and deep respect for ingredients. His culinary journey spans renowned kitchens across Germany, including Michelin-starred Restaurant 1622, the three-Michelin-starred Restaurant Dieter Müller aboard MS Europa, and the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Seven Seas. Since acquiring Restaurant Jellyfish in 2019, he has earned a Michelin star, 16 Gault Millau points, and recognition as a Krug Ambassade.

Commenting on the collaboration, Srikanth Devarapalli, General Manager, JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort, said, “We are delighted to welcome Chef Stefan Fäth for this exceptional two-night event. His ingredient-driven philosophy and refined creativity align seamlessly with our commitment to delivering soulful, memorable experiences. These evenings promise to be a true celebration of culinary craft set in one of the Maldives’ most breathtaking locations.”

Chef Stefan added, “Cooking at JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort offers a unique opportunity to express my cuisine in an environment that values nature, seasonality, and craftsmanship. I look forward to sharing a dining journey that is precise yet relaxed, open-minded, and rooted in the joy of good food.”

Seating for both evenings is limited, and reservations are highly recommended.
