MakeMyTrip Expands Vietravel partnership to Cambodia and Laos, building on Vietnam Momentum

MakeMyTrip, India’s leading online travel platform, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vietravel Corporation, one of Vietnam’s largest destination management companies, building on an earlier 2025 agreement to expand the partnership’s scope to Cambodia and Laos and deepen experience curation across Vietnam.   

Vietnam has rapidly emerged as one of India’s most preferred international destinations, supported by growing direct air connectivity and a simplified e-visa process that has made travel increasingly accessible for Indian travellers. Through this partnership, MakeMyTrip and Vietravel aim to build on this momentum and expand the depth of activities and experiences offered across Vietnam; while opening a new travel corridor to Cambodia and Laos, two destinations steeped in history and heritage.  

Over the last 30 years of its operation, Vietravel has grown to become one of Southeast Asia’s most recognised destination management companies, managing inbound and outbound tourism across Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and key markets including India, Singapore, Thailand, France, the USA, and Australia. With decades of on-ground expertise spanning local supplier networks, hospitality partnerships, and cultural institutions across Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, Vietravel is uniquely positioned to curate meaningful experiences for Indian holidaymakers travelling to these destinations. This complements MakeMyTrip’s Holiday Packages business while enabling the platform to offer Indian travellers a more diverse and immersive Southeast Asian portfolio to explore.
