Westin Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of more than 30 extraordinary brands, today announced the opening of The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa. Marking Westin’s debut in one of India’s most sought-after leisure destinations, the opening is a significant milestone as Marriott International’s 200th property in India.
This landmark opening underscores Marriott International’s deepening connection with the Indian market and its continued commitment to enhancing access and relevance for travellers across the country, including through initiatives such as its recently expanded Hindi-language website. Set across nine acres at the tranquil foothills of the majestic Aravalli range, The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa extends Westin’s restorative, balance-driven approach to hospitality in India.
Commenting on the milestone, Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International, said, “Celebrating the opening of our 200th property in India is a defining moment for Marriott International and a reflection of the continued trust our guests and owners place in our brands. Our growth in India has been shaped by hotels that deliver enriching experiences through distinctive design, elevated culinary programs, and service excellence. This achievement is also a testament to the resilience of the Indian hospitality sector and the strong demand we continue to see across leisure and business travel.”
With 200 open properties across 18 distinct brands and a robust pipeline of nearly 150 hotels, Marriott International continues to strengthen its footprint across India, from major metropolitan hubs to emerging leisure and business destinations. India remains one of Marriott’s top three global growth markets, driven by a rapidly expanding domestic travel base, rising affluence, and sustained investment in tourism infrastructure.
The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa brings the brand’s wellness-first philosophy to life while embracing the artistry and cultural richness of Rajasthan. The resort features a harmonious blend of Balinese-inspired architecture and Jaipur craftsmanship, creating an atmosphere of effortless calm. Serene water bodies, open courtyards, and the gentle fragrance of Westin’s signature White Tea scent welcome guests into a world of renewal. Thoughtful design details, including handcrafted décor elements and a statement chandelier inspired by the cosmic dance of Radha and Krishna, add to the resort’s distinctive character.
At the core of the guest experience are Westin’s Pillars of Well-being – Sleep Well, Eat Well and Move Well – integrated across every aspect of the stay. The resort features 135 elegantly appointed keys, including guestrooms, suites, and private villas. Each villa offers private garden spaces and exclusive plunge pools, creating a personal sanctuary amid the peaceful Aravalli landscape. Guests enjoy restorative rest on the iconic Heavenly® Bed, reinforcing Westin’s Sleep Well promise.
For guests focused on fitness and vitality, the resort offers extensive Move Well experiences, including a 24-hour WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio equipped with Technogym equipment, Sculpt & Flow Kits by Bala, Recover & Recharge Kits by Hyperice, mapped jogging routes, a dedicated cricket turf, and multi-purpose courts for pickleball, badminton and basketball.
Culinary experiences span four distinctive venues that embody the Eat Well philosophy. Harvest, the all-day dining restaurant, celebrates a farm-to-fork approach; Ira reimagines Rajasthani soul cuisine with a contemporary perspective; Haven Bar & Coffee Lounge provides a relaxed social setting; and the Pool Bar offers refreshing beverages and handcrafted cocktails.
Wellness is further elevated at Heavenly Spa by Westin™, featuring natural therapies and restorative treatments across five serene treatment rooms. The resort is also well-equipped for social celebrations and corporate gatherings, offering elegant ballrooms, flexible meeting spaces and expansive lawns ideal for destination weddings. Families are welcomed at the Westin Family Kids’ Club, which provides thoughtfully curated activities for younger guests.
Curated cultural experiences, such as the Rangilo Aangan evening tea and regional art performances, deepen guests’ connection to the local heritage. The resort also serves as an ideal base for exploring nearby attractions such as Amer Fort and Nahargarh Fort, or for simply enjoying a restorative retreat on property.
“We are excited to welcome guests to discover Jaipur through the Westin lens, where cultural richness pairs seamlessly with elevated comfort and balance,” said Kamaljit Singh, General Manager, The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa. “Every touchpoint has been designed to create a sense of clarity, calm and connection, ensuring guests leave feeling renewed.”
