The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Tourism (PROMPERU) successfully hosted the Peru Tourism Workshop 2026 in New Delhi, further strengthening Peru’s engagement with the Indian travel market. The exclusive tourism-focused workshop brought together 15 leading Peruvian travel and tourism companies, highlighting Peru’s diverse offerings and fostering meaningful partnerships with the Indian travel trade.
Designed as a strategic B2B tourism platform, the workshop enabled Indian tour operators, travel agents and industry stakeholders to engage directly with Peruvian partners through destination presentations, one-on-one business meetings and networking sessions. Participants gained in-depth insights into Peru’s wide-ranging tourism experiences, including luxury travel, culture and heritage, adventure tourism, experiential journeys and sustainable Amazon lodges.
During the workshop, PROMPERU emphasized the growing importance of the Indian outbound travel market and reaffirmed its commitment to positioning Peru as a preferred long-haul destination for Indian travelers. The discussions highlighted collaboration, product education, and long-term partnerships as key drivers for increasing tourism flows between India and Peru.
The Peru Tourism Workshop 2026 marks a significant milestone in PROMPERU’s continued efforts to strengthen tourism ties, enhance destination awareness and build strong business relationships between Peruvian tourism stakeholders and the Indian travel trade.
