Rann Utsav–The Tent City announces dates for the 2026–27 season

Rann Utsav – The Tent City will return to Dhordo from 1 November 2026 to 7 March 2027, welcoming travellers back to one of Gujarat’s most celebrated seasonal tourism experiences.

Operated by Evoke Experiences in collaboration with Gujarat Tourism, the Tent City is located in Dhordo, around three hours from Bhuj. Over the years, Rann Utsav has become one of India’s most iconic destination festivals, offering visitors an immersive introduction to the White Rann, Kutch’s culture, cuisine, crafts and hospitality.

The 2026–27 edition will feature luxury tented accommodation, regional dining, wellness and adventure activities, curated excursions and stargazing under Kutch’s pristine night skies. Guests will also experience vibrant cultural performances by the Siddi community alongside traditional folk music and dance.

The on-site Haat will showcase handcrafted Ajrakh textiles, Bandhani sarees, intricate embroidery, traditional jewellery, mirror work and Lippan art, highlighting the region’s rich artistic heritage.

Visitors can further extend their journey to Dholavira, travelling via the iconic Road to Heaven—a striking 30-km highway across the Great Rann of Kutch. The route leads to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Dholavira and Evoke Dholavira, where 35 additional seasonal tents will be introduced for the upcoming season.

While Dhordo remains the heart of Rann Utsav celebrations, Dholavira offers an archaeological and landscape-focused extension, creating a complete Kutch itinerary that blends culture, nature and history.

Bookings for the 2026–27 season will open with the Rann Sale from 31 July to 2 August 2026, offering a flat 25% discount, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
