South African Tourism announces the 2026 edition of its Annual India Multi-City Roadshow, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to the Indian market. The roadshow will commence in Mumbai alongside Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) 2026 and continue across Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Delhi from 5th to 12th February 2026.
The five-city roadshow will feature 41 exhibitors, including 8 SMMEs, and spotlight new products and regional experiences, reflecting South Africa’s evolving tourism portfolio and focus on inclusive growth. The initiative offers Indian trade partners enhanced networking opportunities, destination insights, and direct engagement with South Africa’s tourism leaders.
“India continues to be a critical growth driver for South African Tourism. Through this roadshow, we aim to empower our Indian trade partners with deeper destination knowledge, new product insights, and strategic tools to accelerate tourist arrivals from India,” said Mr. Gcobani Mancotywa, Regional General Manager for Asia, Australasia, and the Middle East, South African Tourism.
The 2026 roadshow will showcase emerging travel segments, evolving traveller preferences, and immersive experiences across South Africa, catering to leisure, adventure, luxury, family, and MICE travellers. Efforts to enhance travel accessibility, including the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) and the Trusted Tour Operator Scheme (TTOS), alongside ongoing discussions to improve air connectivity, will further support India–South Africa tourism growth.
Now in its 22nd edition, the roadshow underscores South African Tourism’s commitment to strengthening long-term trade relationships, inspiring travel from India, and positioning South Africa as a preferred long-haul destination.
