Tourism’s first medical health camp was organized at CIMS Hospital, Science City, Ahmedabad which was a noble initiative by Pinks Travels Private Limited and IDFC Bank. The health camp was conducted from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and it was specifically arranged for the Association Of Domestic Tour Operators Of India (ADTOI) and Indian Association Of Travel & Tourism Experts (IATTE) members and their family members on a complimentary basis.
The event was graced by distinguished tourism dignitaries and delegates – Chairman ADTOI Gujarat & IATTE Gujarat, Shri Pinkal Shah, Managing Director Of TCGL – Tourism Corporation Of Gujarat Limited, Shri Saurabh Pardhi and General Manager of TCGL – Tourism Corporation Of Gujarat Limited, Shri Trupti Vyas.
Moreover, the event focused on various health talk sessions and interactions with senior doctors of the hospital which included topics like gynaecology, breast cancer, healthy lifestyle, etc. followed by various doctor consultations and different body tests.
This was the out of the box event for the tourism industry as nobody till date has conducted a family event and that too for health awareness. Therefore we, TMC – Tourism Medical Camp were extremely pleased as we received an appreciable response for the same.
