Vietjet Thailand has further strengthened air connectivity between India and Thailand with the launch of its new direct service connecting Kolkata (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport) and Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi). The inaugural flight was warmly received in Kolkata, marking another milestone in the airline’s expanding footprint in the Indian market.
The new route operates four times a week with convenient late-night schedules. Flight VZ771 departs Kolkata at 00:50 and arrives in Bangkok at 04:55, while the return flight VZ770 departs Bangkok at 22:30 and lands in Kolkata at 23:50 (local time), offering seamless travel options for both leisure and business travellers.

To celebrate the launch, Vietjet Thailand is offering special promotional fares starting from INR 1 (excluding taxes and fees). The Kolkata–Bangkok route is the latest addition to Vietjet Thailand’s growing India network, which already includes services from Mumbai and Ahmedabad to Bangkok, as well as Mumbai to Phuket.
