Get ready for the comeback of the vibrant Goa Heritage Festival this April

The Department of Goa Tourism is excited to announce the upcoming ‘Heritage Festival 2023’ at the Saligao Ground, Saligao Bardez Goa, from April 28 to April 30, 2023. The festival aims to promote the State’s art, tradition, and culture while increasing cultural tourism.

The festival will be inaugurated by esteemed dignitaries, including Dr Pramod Sawant, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Shripad Naik, Minister of State Tourism and Ports, Shri Rohan Khaunte, Minister for Tourism, IT & EC and Printing & Stationery Goa, Dr Ganesh Gaonkar MLA Sanvordem & Chairman GTDC, and other respected dignitaries.

The three-day festival, hosted by the Department of Tourism, will showcase Goa’s rich heritage and cultural diversity through various performances, such as dances, heritage walks, culinary delights, musical shows, and much more. Visitors can experience the true essence of Goa with a Fashion Show, Goan Games Gallery, Pottery Demonstration, Workshops on Goan Drama, Theatre, Special Talks by leading experts on related Topics, Screening of Marathi & Konkani Films, and Exhibition of Marathi-Konkani Books.

In addition to these events, the festival will feature a Heritage Photography Exhibition promoting the rich heritage of the State and the locals. A unique craft bazaar will also be set up where local businesses will showcase Goa’s diverse handicrafts, art, and traditional products and sell organic food and clothing.
