TOFT announces that the 9th TOFT Wildlife & Nature Tourism Awards will be held on 14 December 2026 at Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya (PMML), New Delhi, bringing together leaders from conservation, tourism, hospitality, government, academia, civil society, and local communities to celebrate excellence in responsible wildlife and nature tourism across the Indian subcontinent.
The hosting of the Awards at Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya represents an important milestone for the wildlife and nature tourism sector. The event will also mark the first time that Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya hosts a travel and tourism industry award show, reflecting the growing recognition of conservation-led tourism as a contributor to sustainable development, community livelihoods, and environmental stewardship. Organised by TOFT, the Awards have become one of the region’s leading platforms for recognising outstanding contributions to wildlife conservation, community engagement, sustainable tourism, and nature-positive development.
Theme for 2026 “Nature Positive Travel: Driving Conservation, Empowering People” As destinations across the world seek to balance tourism growth with ecological protection and community wellbeing, the Awards recognise individuals, organisations, destinations, protected areas, tourism enterprises, and community initiatives that are setting benchmarks for responsible and sustainable tourism.
For over two decades, TOFT has worked alongside governments, protected areas, tourism businesses, conservation organisations, and local communities to promote tourism as a force for conservation and sustainable development. The Awards programme reflects this mission by recognising leadership, innovation, and measurable impact in wildlife and nature tourism.
