Come to Chopta then Mussorie

Adding more to this Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj said, “Uttarakhand is blessed with many beautiful locations that have always attracted tourists. However, we invite tourists to visit some of our lesser-known destinations to explore our state better. Our government has remained vigilant to endorse the homestay scheme. We have nearly 3500 homestays registered with us until now.”

Secretary Tourism Mr Dilip Jawalkar said, “Our efforts are continuing to develop our offbeat destinations. We are working to promote workcation in these offbeat locations. Along with this, we are developing 13 districts 13 destinations to create new places for the tourists and generate employment for the rural parts of Uttarakhand. Similarly, we are proactively working for Trekking Traction Centre Scheme to develop adventure tourism in Uttarakhand and cater the needs of the trekkers.  The convention centre will increase the residential facility in the selected track routes which will also benefit the local people.”
