Singaporean-born Australian cook, Sashikumar Cheliah returns to his roots with this very special culinary experience at Nawab Saheb, the legendary Indian restaurant that pays homage to the chef’s love for tradition, culture, and exploration through stories that have traveled for years.
Chef Cheliah was declared the winner of the tenth season of Masterchef Australia in the year 2018. Prior to being a part of the MasterChef family. His passion for food was evident even as a teenager. “Cooking was the only thing I could do well besides law enforcement,” he says. After winning Masterchef, he opened a small pop-up café and later launched his first restaurant in 2019 which serves dishes influenced by Indian, Singaporean, and Malaysian cuisines.
This month, the legendary Chef will be cooking up a storm in the city at none other than The Westin Powai.
