TravStack’s smart stay revolution

India’s hospitality sector is entering a season of quiet transformation, one where guest data, sales funnels and loyalty programmes are no longer scattered across disconnected screens. Mounika Pothineni and Sai Santhosh Kalangi, Co-Founders, Travstack share how technology can smooth the bumps in the travel industry.

TravStack is a platform built to bring CRM, marketing, automation and AI together under one roof for hotels and resorts. Every great guest experience begins long before check-in, and TravStack’s recent innovations are designed around exactly that moment of first contact.

Building the backbone

Mounika explains, “The platform has spent the past year strengthening its Social CRM and direct-sales capabilities, pulling enquiries from websites, WhatsApp, social channels and paid campaigns into a single, visible funnel.” Santhosh adds, “Expanding integrations with PMS, channel managers and payment gateways has allowed hotels to weave AI directly into daily workflows through lead scoring, automation and conversational reporting, turning scattered data into decisions hotels can act on immediately.”

Intelligence with instinct

Artificial intelligence has moved from buzzword to backbone in hotel operations, and both founders describe it as a genuine shift in how properties think about guests. Santhosh says, “AI an intelligence layer that runs across the entire sales and guest journey, capable of spotting high-potential leads and surfacing patterns in guest behaviour that a human team might otherwise miss.” Mounika highlights “Conversational, LLM-enabled tools now let hotel management simply ask which locations are driving demand or which guest segments deserve attention, moving the industry from reporting what already happened to recommending what should happen next.”

One platform, many possibilities

Fragmentation has long been hospitality’s quiet tax, with separate systems for bookings, WhatsApp, loyalty and reporting pulling teams in different directions. Mounika describes, “TravStack is a connected sales and guest-engagement layer that wraps around a hotel’s existing ecosystem rather than replacing it, giving teams a single view from first enquiry to booking and beyond.” Santhosh adds, “This connectivity lets hotels retain guest intelligence and personalise every conversation, building the kind of direct and repeat business that ultimately strengthens a property’s bottom line.”

Numbers that tell a story

Measurable results are where the platform’s promise turns into proof, and the founders are candid about what they are seeing across implementations. Santhosh shares, “Centralised lead management and automation help teams save close to a quarter to nearly half of the time once spent on repetitive follow-ups and coordination.” Mounika points to the bigger win being

visibility itself, since spotting delayed follow-ups and funnel bottlenecks early opens fresh opportunities for upselling, retention and stronger direct conversions.

Guests who return, revenue that grows

The conversation with Mounika and Santhosh circles back to a simple idea: the guest journey does not end at checkout, it begins there. Their shared belief is that hotels sitting on rich booking and preference data hold the raw material for lasting relationships, and platforms like TravStack exist to turn that raw material into revenue. As Indian hospitality leans further into technology, TravStack’s founders are betting that the properties who connect their data today will be the ones guests keep choosing tomorrow.
