IndiGo commences operations from Navi Mumbai International Airport

IndiGo officially begun operations from the newly inaugurated Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA). The airline’s first flight arrived at NMIA from Bengaluru in the morning, with the first departure to Hyderabad following shortly thereafter.

Initially, IndiGo will connect NMIA to 13 destinations across India: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Cochin, Delhi, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Nagpur, Goa (Mopa), Jaipur, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Vadodara, with daily or multiple weekly flights starting between 25–30 December 2025.

Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales, IndiGo, said, “We are pleased to commence operations from Navi Mumbai International Airport, the second airport in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This enables us to offer greater travel choices to travelers to and from Mumbai. Our services will support the growth of this new aviation gateway while complementing Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.”

The launch of flights from NMIA is part of IndiGo’s strategy to leverage the airport as a key aviation hub, providing a seamless travel experience for passengers in and around Mumbai.
