Anju Wariah appointed as Director – Group Business Development of STIC

The Board of Directors of the 47-year-old STIC Travel Group, announced the promotion of Ms. Anju Wariah, from Senior Vice President of Alliances and Corporate Affairs to the position of Director – Group Business Development effective 1st September 2021. With a career spanning over three decades, Ms. Wariah is an aviation specialist and industry veteran. Having held various leadership positions at STIC, Ms. Wariah has successfully launched and grown multiple international airline operations in the Indian marketplace.

“Anju’s contributions have been invaluable to not only driving the growth of the business but also creating a great company culture for our sales teams. Her hands-on experience and deep connection with industry bring a unique perspective”, said Mrs. Gursharn Goyal, Managing Director and Co-founder of STIC Travel Group.

Anju Wariah, 54, joined STIC in 1991 after completing her Masters in Arts from Delhi University. Having worked across airline reservations, airport operations, pricing, sales and business development, she has managed multiple teams and products and continues to lead a significant part of the STIC GSA business. She will continue her role in leading the airline sales business of STIC GSA Services Private Limited as she takes a seat on the Board of Directors of STIC Travel Group with the promoter family.
