Atmosphere Core has signed an agreement for its 10th resort in the Maldives, further expanding its hospitality portfolio in the island nation.
The new property, ONE BANYAN Amaraa Faru An Atmosphere Hotel, Maldives, is scheduled to open in March 2027 and will operate under the Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts portfolio.
The signing strengthens Atmosphere Core’s presence in the Maldives, where the group currently operates multiple resorts across its hospitality brands. The new development will add another offering to the country’s luxury and experiential resort segment.
The property is expected to cater to international leisure demand, with the Maldives continuing to remain a key market for premium beach holidays, destination celebrations, honeymoon travel and high-value tourism.
The expansion comes as resort operators continue to invest in the Maldives, adding new accommodation products and experiences to meet demand from global source markets.
For the international travel trade, the addition gives tour operators and destination specialists another Maldives resort option to incorporate into upcoming holiday programmes, particularly as the property approaches its scheduled opening in 2027.
The new resort further reinforces Atmosphere Core’s long-term commitment to the Maldives and its strategy of expanding its resort portfolio across the destination.
