DGCA’s new rules will lead to hiring

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has implemented new measures to address pilot fatigue. With recent changes, the flight crew will now be required to have a mandatory weekly rest period of 48 hours, an increase from the previous 36-hour requirement. This move is aimed at combating pilot fatigue and ensuring the safety of air travel in the country.

The idea is to explore the impact of these regulatory adjustments on the hiring landscape within the aviation industry and how this transformation will unfold in terms of job opportunities for flight crews and the broader employment scenario.
