Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, expands its international network with the launch of Vietnam Airlines’ new direct service to Hanoi. The new route marks the airline’s entry into Gujarat and establishes Ahmedabad as Vietnam Airlines’ fifth passenger destination in India. The inaugural flight departed from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, on November 3, 2026, creating a new direct air link between Gujarat and Vietnam.
The new service will operate four times a week, every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, providing travellers from Ahmedabad and neighbouring markets with direct access to Hanoi and onward connections across Vietnam Airlines’ wider domestic and international network. The launch of the Ahmedabad-Hanoi service by Vietnam Airlines marks another milestone in Ahmedabad Airport’s expanding international connectivity.
