Maharashtra Tourism targets South Indian travel trade at TTF Hyderabad

Maharashtra Tourism showcased the state’s diverse tourism offerings and investment opportunities at the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) Hyderabad, aiming to strengthen engagement with South Indian travel trade partners and expand the state’s reach across key domestic markets.

The participation highlighted Maharashtra’s varied tourism portfolio, encompassing heritage and spiritual destinations, wildlife experiences, coastal attractions, adventure tourism and agri-tourism. The state also presented opportunities for tourism-related investments, positioning its destinations for greater engagement with tour operators, travel agents, hospitality businesses and destination management companies.

TTF Hyderabad provided a platform for Maharashtra Tourism to connect with travel trade professionals, promote destination products and explore potential business collaborations. Such interactions can help travel sellers broaden their Maharashtra offerings and develop itineraries for travellers seeking a mix of cultural, nature-based and experiential holidays.

The state’s participation also underlined the importance of regional travel markets in strengthening domestic tourism. By engaging with industry stakeholders in South India, Maharashtra Tourism aims to build trade relationships, improve destination visibility and encourage greater inclusion of its tourism products in travel packages.

The exhibition formed part of the state’s wider efforts to promote its destinations and attract investment across different tourism segments, while creating opportunities for closer cooperation between tourism authorities and private-sector businesses.

TTF Hyderabad was held from 9 to 11 October 2026 at HITEX Exhibition Centre, bringing together tourism boards, travel companies and hospitality representatives from across the industry.
