Chhattisgarh Travel Trade Association (CGTTA) elects new leadership at Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Chhattisgarh Travel Trade Association (CGTTA) was successfully held in Raipur on May 31, marking a pivotal moment for the state’s travel and tourism sector. The meeting witnessed the induction of a new leadership team, signaling a renewed commitment to strengthening the travel trade ecosystem in the region.

Mr. Jaspreet Bhatia, Founder of Ice Cubes Holidays, has been elected as the President of CGTTA for the upcoming term. He is joined by Mr. Sumit Agrawal of Seeta Travels, who takes on the role of Secretary, and Ms. Reena Jotwani from Let’s Travel, who has been appointed as the Joint Secretary.

 

The AGM served as a platform for in-depth discussions on key challenges and growth opportunities within the travel industry. Among the major priorities outlined by the new executive team were enhancing regional and national air connectivity, initiating efforts to facilitate international flight operations from Raipur, expanding CGTTA’s membership base, and fostering holistic value creation for travel and tourism stakeholders across Chhattisgarh.

A strategic roadmap for the next six months was also finalized, focusing on advocacy, partnerships, and capacity-building initiatives aimed at elevating the state’s travel trade profile on a national and international scale.

The newly appointed leadership emphasized collaboration and innovation as core pillars of their approach, and expressed their commitment to working closely with government bodies, airlines, tourism boards, and travel professionals to realize the association’s goals.
