Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Darjeeling

Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, announces the opening of Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Darjeeling. This marks the Group’s first hotel in Darjeeling, further strengthening its presence in West Bengal.

The hotel is managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.

Located on Old Kutchery Road, the hotel offers easy access to Darjeeling’s key attractions while placing guests close to the town’s distinctive mountain setting. Known for its tea estates, panoramic Himalayan views, pleasant climate and colonial-era heritage, Darjeeling remains a sought-after hill destination for leisure travellers and those looking for a refreshing mountain escape.

Spread across 65 well-appointed rooms and suites including Superior Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, Studio Suites and Executive Suites, the hotel offers views overlooking the valley, city, forest and lush gardens. The hotel features Keys Café, a multi-cuisine all-day dining restaurant; Unlock Bar; in-room dining; and a fitness centre. An outdoor lawn with a capacity of up to 100 guests provides a setting for intimate social gatherings, private celebrations and outdoor events.

“Darjeeling remains one of India’s most-loved hill destinations, be it a classic mountain holiday for families or shorter, experience-led trips for younger travellers. The tea estates, the food and the character of the town are as much a part of the journey as the view. This makes Darjeeling a natural fit for Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, which combines contemporary comfort with thoughtful service and a strong sense of value. With our debut here, we look forward to offering travellers our signature hospitality as they discover Darjeeling, and to marking a new milestone in our growing presence in West Bengal,” said Mr. Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President, Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd.

Guests can explore several of Darjeeling’s prominent attractions, including Tiger Hill, Darjeeling Zoo, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, Rock Garden, Tea Gardens, Darjeeling Ropeway and Batasia Loop. The hotel is approximately 70 km from Bagdogra Airport, 2.5 km from Darjeeling Railway Station and 1.7 km from the local bus station.
