Novotel Bhubaneswar Janpath appoints Neelabh Sahay as its General Manager, with the hospitality professional set to lead the newly launched property as it establishes its presence in Odisha’s capital.
In his new role, Sahay will oversee the hotel’s overall operations and play a key role in strengthening its operational and commercial strategy. His responsibilities will include leading the team, enhancing guest experiences and positioning the property across the business, leisure and social events segments.
The appointment comes at an important time for Novotel Bhubaneswar Janpath, which marks Accor’s entry into Odisha and further expands the group’s presence in Eastern India. Located in the heart of Bhubaneswar, the contemporary hotel has been designed to cater to business travellers, leisure guests and families.
The property features 118 guest rooms with city and pool views, along with an outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi. It also offers more than 1,050 square metres of flexible banquet and event space, strengthening its appeal for meetings, conferences, weddings and social gatherings.
Its food and beverage offerings include Food Exchange, the all-day dining restaurant, and E2O, a Pan-Asian dining destination, along with a social bar concept.
With Bhubaneswar continuing to grow as a centre for business, government activity, meetings and destination events, the launch of Novotel Bhubaneswar Janpath adds a new internationally branded hospitality offering to the city’s accommodation landscape.
Under Sahay’s leadership, the hotel is expected to focus on building its market presence, strengthening service standards and creating distinctive experiences for guests across business and leisure travel segments.
The appointment also supports Accor’s continued expansion strategy in emerging Indian markets, as the hospitality group strengthens its portfolio across key destinations in the country.
